About this trip

Manali–Kasol is the kind of trip where the mountains slow you down without asking. We move from the lively streets of Manali to the quieter valleys of Kasol, with winding mountain roads, pine forests, riverside cafés and little villages along the way. Expect long drives, cold mornings, sunset viewpoints, late-night conversations and enough time to forget what day it is. There’ll be moments to explore, moments to do absolutely nothing, and a whole lot of stories in between. Bring a jacket, comfortable shoes, and a little space for the unexpected.

  • Two nights in a comfortable Manali hotel and one night in a riverside camp in Kasol.
  • Solang Valley and its mountain views, surrounded by the Himalayas.
  • Old Manali’s cafés, streets and laid-back mountain vibe.
  • A riverside evening in Kasol, with the Parvati Valley all around.
  • A scenic journey through pine forests, mountain roads and Himalayan villages.

Tenzin Dolma

Based in Kaza, Spiti · 4 trips led

Grew up in Spiti and spent four winters working at a homestay in Langza. Knows which passes open early, which grandmother makes the best thukpa, and how to talk anyone through their first night at 4,200 metres.

I have watched people arrive terrified of the altitude and leave planning to come back in winter. That turn is the whole job.
