Experience the enchanting beauty of Jammu & Kashmir on a 6-day journey connecting historic cities, pristine alpine valleys, and world-renowned meadows. From historic forts and royal palaces in Jammu to staying in an authentic wooden houseboat on Dal Lake with private Shikara rides, journey through the Mughal Gardens, ascend Apharwat Peak on the Gulmarg Gondola, explore Thajiwas Glacier in Sonamarg, and unwind along the Lidder River in Betaab and Aru valleys in Pahalgam.

Day 1Evening Departure from Delhi

Board your AC Tempo Traveller or Volvo Bus in the evening from Delhi. Undertake the 12–14 hour overnight road journey to Jammu.

Day 2Jammu Arrival & Local Exploration

Arrive in Jammu in the morning and check in to your hotel. Freshen up, have breakfast, and take time to rest. In the afternoon, visit Bahu Fort and explore local markets. Spend the evening walking around Mubarak Mandi Palace, followed by dinner and hotel stay.

Day 3Jammu to Srinagar | Dal Lake Houseboat & Mughal Gardens

Morning scenic drive from Jammu to Srinagar (~6–7 hours). Check into your traditional houseboat on Dal Lake and freshen up. Enjoy a 1-hour peaceful Shikara ride across Dal Lake. Visit Mughal Gardens (Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi) and shop at Lal Chowk. Return to the houseboat for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4Srinagar to Gulmarg Day Trip

Drive to Gulmarg (~1.5–2 hours) through scenic mountain roads. Ride the famous Gulmarg Gondola up to Apharwat Peak. Enjoy snow activities (skiing, snowboarding, sledging; seasonal) and visit St. Mary's Church and meadows. Return to Srinagar in late afternoon for leisure time, dinner, and hotel stay.

Day 5Srinagar to Sonamarg Day Excursion

Drive to Sonamarg (~2.5–3 hours) alongside the Sindh River. Visit Thajiwas Glacier via a short trek or pony ride, taking in views of snow peaks and green pastures. Have lunch in Sonamarg and drive back to Srinagar for dinner and overnight hotel stay.

Day 6Srinagar to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds)

Check out and drive to Pahalgam (~4–5 hours). Check into hotel and head out to explore Betaab Valley and Aru Valley. Optional pony ride or hike to Baisaran (Mini Switzerland). Spend a peaceful evening relaxing beside the Lidder River before dinner and hotel stay.

Day 7Pahalgam to Delhi Return

Breakfast and check-out from Pahalgam hotel. Board the Tempo Traveller for the return journey to Delhi (approx. 15–17 hours) with meal and refreshment stops. Arrive in Delhi late evening/night where the journey concludes.

Overnight Delhi-to-Jammu and return Pahalgam-to-Delhi transport via Tempo Traveller or Volvo Bus; internal Kashmir tours and transfers by Sedan, SUV, or Tempo Traveller (also covers Srinagar Airport transfers).
